    Client Communications Coordinator

    Engineering consultancy. Knoxville, TN.
    Managed EnerNex’s push marketing to clients (i.e. quarterly newsletter, survey).
    Primary client was the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP), a government-funded membership organization launched in Fall 2009. Served as main point of contact for SGIP Members — 1,900 individuals in 770 organizations worldwide from 22 power stakeholder categories.

    • Created and delivered external communications, including newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, collateral, client reports; press releases.
    • Publicized SGIP’s work via online, email, social media and trade outlets.
    • Developed member application process and managed membership database.
    • Represented SGIP at stakeholder meetings, industry conferences, trade shows.
    • Supervised two administrative assistants and communicated pertinent, as-needed details to client project team of approximately 20 members, 10 NIST clients, 26 Governing Board Members and three Plenary Officers.
